INVISALIGN Pricing, Terms and Conditions

* Prior to the expiration date, a certain number of refinements are included in the price. Additional aligners/refinements may be available at an extra charge before the treatment expiration date. No additional aligners can be purchased after the treatment expiration date.

** Initial ClinCheck charge is non-refundable and will be deducted from the total cost of treatment once treatment is initiated.

*** Retention is essential and is charged separately depending on the need for fixed wires, for example behind front teeth, and/or removable retainers worn nightly, especially initially. The use of retainers is essential for long term results.

Patient Responsibilities

• Consistent in wearing aligners, retainers and auxiliaries as instructed.
• Excellent oral hygiene, including brushing teeth and aligners.
• Attending all follow-up aligner and retainer check appointments.
• Avoiding damage from hot water, pets, and other risks, and reporting issues promptly.

Potential Additional Costs

Agreement to pay fees for lost, broken, or replacement aligners, retainers or fixed appliances.

Risks & Limitations

Orthodontic treatment is not an exact science. Potential issues, including root resorption, gum disease and caries, can occur, and slight tooth movement or relapse might still happen even with perfect compliance.

Orthodontic treatment involves a prolonged commitment on the part of the patient in order to achieve success. It is essential that patients, and parents as appropriate, understand at the outset the implications of treatment in terms of regular attendances, oral hygiene requirements, dietary restrictions, discomfort, extractions, appliances and post-treatment retention. The need to continue regular hygiene visits, the predicted active treatment time, and the time that retention will be actively monitored have been discussed.

Wearing your aligners, auxiliaries and retainers as instructed is crucial to achieving and maintaining the intended orthodontic result. The use of retainers is essential for long term results.

The treating doctor has the right to discontinue treatment for nonpayment. A patient who does not complete orthodontic treatment due to non-compliance is still liable for the full contracted payment amount unless otherwise agreed upon by the dentist.

Payment Terms

• ClinCheck charge during Digital Scan and Photography appointment: €500.
• 50% of the total cost must be paid upon ClinCheck approval to complete the order.
• 75% of the total cost should be paid by mid-treatment.
• The final 25% should be paid by the treatment expiration date or completion of treatment, whichever comes first.
